User roles

A role sets what a user can do in the Business Dashboard. Every gym has four built-in roles. A gym can also create custom roles. You give a role to a user in Gym Profile.

You cannot change a built-in role.

A user without the Give discounts permission does not see the Discount field.

Create a custom role when no built-in role fits. You choose each permission, for example Members: Read or Transactions: Give discounts.

  1. Open Gym Profile.
  2. In the Roles table, click Add Role.
  3. Enter a name. You cannot use the name of a built-in role.
  4. Select the permissions for each area.
  5. Save the role.

The new role shows in the Roles table. You can now select it when you add a user.

A gym can create one custom role. To create more, contact Fitquarters to turn on the Custom Roles feature.
